Gail was a close friend and owner of a vintage clothing collection, inherited from her great aunts brought up in Charleston, N.C. She loved playing hostess and dressing up. Lucky for me, I was at numerous backyard tea parties using up lots of film, capturing the happy moments. Gail had a knack of falling into so many paint poses I could hardly keep up with her. We had a wonderful 10 years of collaborating.
